Nobody does it better when it comes to NBA picks!

The Cavaliers are the best kept secret in the league. They do not get as many nationally televised games as the Celtics or Bucks, and do not have an MVP candidate, but they are playing excellent basketball. They have won 14 of their last 15 games, and climbed all the way up to the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference Standings. Their only loss in the streak came in Milwaukee, and they have won their last six games including impressive wins over the Kings, Clippers and Bucks. In their last game, Cleveland was led by Donovan Mitchell with 29 points in the win over Sacramento.

Evan Mobley and Darius Garland have returned to the lineup after the both missed multiple weeks this season with injuries. The team is finally at full strength with their top stars, and have been putting the league on notice. Donovan Mitchell is their leading scorer with 28.2 PPG, and if the Cavs keep winning he should be an MVP candidate (Note: He is currently (+30000) on FanDuel, while Nikola Jokic is (-150)). The return of Mobley and Garland has added a boost, as Mobley averages 15.7 PPG and 10.2 RPG, while Garland adds 19.0 PPG and 5.7 APG. The starting lineup at full strength has consisted of those three, plus Jarrett Allen (15.6 PPG, 10.6 RPG) inside and Max Strus (12.6 PPG, 2.5 made threes per game) on the perimeter.

Their top scorer off the bench has been guard Caris LaVert with 15.3 PPG to lead the second unit. Dean Wade and Georges Niang have been getting the majority of the remaining bench minutes. Cleveland currently ranks 1 6th in offensive efficiency and 2nd in defensive efficiency according to dunksandthrees.com. Cleveland plays at the 19th fastest pace in the NBA.
