Boise State at Santa Clara – 12/22/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

Boise State will travel down to the Bay Area and face Santa Clara in a battle of Broncos this Thursday from the Leavey Center on WCC. These two schools have face off five times, with Santa Clara holding a 4-1 series lead, but Boise State won last year's meeting,72-60.

Santa Clara improved to 10-3 after defeating UC Irvine on Thursday. The Broncos trailed at the break, but they’d come back to secure a second straight comeback victory over the Anteaters. Santa Clara is scoring 73.6 points per game, while allowing 69.7 ppg, and shooting 42.8% from the floor.

Brandin Podziemski leads the charge for SCU after coming over fromIllinois, and he’s got three performances of 27 or more, and he’s leading the Broncos in scoring (18.4), rebounds (8.6), and assists (3.3). Carlos Stewart is starting to pick things up, and after going for a career-high 29 points in the win over Irvine, he’s averaging 22.8 ppg over his last six games. Fifth-year forward Keshawn Justice (12.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg) remains effective, and he went for 26 points against the Anteaters.
