“Another plus-money play for me, I'm going to go with the Braves team tota l over 5.5 for even money today against the Angels,” Messinger said. “This is squarely a play on the Braves being the best offense in the major leagues against left-handed pitching. So Patrick Sandoval gets the ball today for the Angels. … This past month though he has faced the Padres, the Yankees and the Tigers. So those are not the hot-hitting offenses. … He is fully capable of giving up some crooked numbers on the scoreboard. So I think this is the team to do it.”
