Scottish Open Field and Course
A loaded field is comprised of the top 75 players from both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, minus No. 2 Jon Rahm who will take an extra week off ahead of next week's Open Championship in England. No LIV Golfers are in the field.
The Renaissance Club is a modern Tom Doak-designed Scottish links course est ablished in 2008. It has hosted the Scottish Open each of the last four years and features five Par 3's. Located approx. 20 miles East of Edinburgh, the Renaissance Club sits exposed on the North Sea coastline. Weather and changing winds conditions impact scoring, and last year's heavy winds kept scores closer to par with Schauffele winning a -7 under par and just 23 players breaking par.

Tommy Fleetwood has been playing well for months. Over his last 36 rounds, Tommy Boy ranks top-20 across the board in strokes gained stats and top-35 in Putting. In the last two months, Fleetwood has three top-5 finishes, and the 32-year-old Englishman has shown the most strength in Tee-to-Green, Around the Green, and Ball Striking while ranking highly in Birdies or Better Gained and among the very best on Bogey Avoidance. Fleetwood lost in a playoff here in 2020 to Aaron Rai while shooting 11-under par, and T4 last year. He can clearly challenge the top of the leaderboard again.
