It might not be the worst idea to get in on these Finals odds for next season now

The Celtics' season has only been over for mere days but the odds for them to win it all next season are already out at BetMGM. So if you're still mourning and are at the stage of your grief where looking optimistically at the future is helping, this is for you.'

The odds for the Celtics to win the NBA Finals next season are +550. That is behind only the Nuggets, who are favored at +500. (Denver currently is in this year's NBA Finals and has a great chance to win it.) But the Heat, also in the Finals, have much longer odds than the Celtics to win it all next season at +1800. So maybe even just seeing the faith oddsmakers have in the Celtics next season makes you feel a bit better.'

But should you bet on these odds right now?'

I don't think it would be the worst idea. These odds are also where they are without even knowing what the fate of Jaylen Brown will be this offseason. Will the Celtics trade him or will he and Jayson Tatum remain together?
