William & Mary at Pittsburgh – 11/25/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The William & Mary Tribe and Pitt Panthers face off on Friday in a college basketball showdown at the Peterson Events Center. This is the first meeting between the two teams in recent years. 

William & Mary comes into this game with a 3-3 record and they have gone 3-2 against the spread. In the last game against Radford the defense was elite giving up only 51 points, and that led to the 11 point victory. The Tribe are averaging 75.7 points while their defense is giving up 66.2 points per game. In this game, William & Mary is going to need the defense to be good, or it’s going to be a long game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Pitt who sit with a 3-3 record and they have gone 2-3-1 against the spread. In the last game against FDU the offense scored 83 points, and that was enough to secure the 22 point victory. Two games ago against Alabama State the defense was elite giving up only 54 points. Pitt is averaging 69.8 points while their defense is giving up 69.3 points per game. Blake Hinson has been the top player for Pitt this season averaging 15.8 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from behind the three point line. There are three different players that are averaging at least 12 points per game.
