Will Taylor Swift Make Sports Bettors Out of More Women?

By now, you know the story all too well.

In July, possibly the greatest tight end in NFL history, 33-year-old Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, attended a Taylor Swift concert at Arrowhead Stadium, which happens to be where he reports to work several days a year. Kelce tried to slip her a friendship bracelet (this is a thing “Swifties” do) with his phone number on it, but the ploy failed, leading him to remark on the podcast he co-hosts that he was “butt-hurt.”

But Kelce kept at it, and eventually it was reported that he and Swift, also 33, had hung out here and there. On another podcast, Kelce mentioned that he'd invited Swift to last Sunday's game at Arrowhead against the Chicago Bears.

She showed up. Boy, did she ever.

Wearing her trademark red lipstick and a Chiefs jacket to match, Swift sat next to Kelce's mom in the family skybox at Arrowhead, adorably yelling “let's f**king go!” after Kelce scored a touchdown in what turned out to be a Kansas City romp. After the game, cameras captured the pair walking down a locker-room corridor together and leaving the stadium in a muscular convertible getaway car driven by Kelce.
