The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and South Carolina Gamecocks face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Colonial Life Arena. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was South Carolina that secured the 75-64 victory.
Western Kentucky comes into this game with an 8-2 record and they have gone 3-5 against the spread. In the last game against Louisville the defense gave up 94 points and that led to the defeat. South Carolina is averaging 64 points while their defense is giving up 70.5 points per game. The offense is ranked 336th in college basketball, and the offense hasn’t been good enough. Gregory Jackson II is averaging 17 points while shooting 42.8 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from behind the three point line.
