Weber State vs. Northern Colorado Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-6-2023

The Weber State Wildcats (12-11 SU, 7-3 Big Sky Conference) travel to Greeley, CO to take on the Northern Colorado Bears (UNC) (7-16 SU, 2-9 Big Sky Conference) at the Bank of Colorado Arena on Monday in a conference showdown.

Weber State has won three of the last four games versus Northern Colorado, including an 81-72 win at home in late-December at home.  The Wildcats have lost two of the last three games played on the road at the Bank of Colorado Arena, Weber State has won three of their past four games overall and have won two of their last three on the road straight up.  UNC has lost four of the last five games overall and three of the last four at home.

Tipoff is scheduled for 11:00 PM ET.

 

Weber State has won four of the last five games, including a 72-71 overtime thriller on the road against the Idaho State Bengals (8-15 SU, 5-5 Big Sky Conference).  The win improved the Wildcats to 7-3 in the conference.  Dillion Jones’ layup at the buzzer won the game for Weber State.   Weber State shot 47.4% from the floor and 31.6% from three-point range.  Weber State allowed Idaho State to shoot 42.3% overall and hit 42.9% from beyond the stripe.

Weber State has reported no injuries.

Weber State ranks low in several key offensive categories, including 313th in points per game (65.1 PPG), 194th in shooting percentage (44.0%), and 195th in three-point shooting.  The defense ranks 100th in points allowed per game (67.4), 265th in shooting percentage allowed (45.4%), and 246th defending three-pointers.
