Chelsa Messinger and Michael Jenkins took a look at the odds for World Series MVP and broke down some of the best choices on the board at BetMGM. Jenkins is looking at one Astros pitcher in particular.
“I'm going to say (Justin) Verlander,” Jenkins said. “If we're talking chalky here, al l of the bets are going to be on Bryce (Harper), guaranteed. Because you're getting him at 7-1 … I think the Astros are going to win the World Series … Yes, the Phillies have a better story, have a better narrative going into the World Series. What have the Astros done? Just quietly not lost a single game. Not a single game in the postseason … it's crazy-effective … In this postseason (Verlander) has been absolutely lights-out, particularly his last performance, so I like him at 10-1 here.”
