Home run props, especially in the World Series, are exciting, but is betting on them the best way to go? The BetQL Daily crew took a look into stat leader bets heading into the World Series between the Phillies and Astros. And Joe Ostrowski is looking at the prop for a player to have the most total bases in the World Series.

“I actually like total bases more than home runs,” Ostrowski said. “Why is Gurriel 100-1? … He led the Astros with 40 doubles this year. … He's getting a lot of value. I don't know that he's going to have a great series, but I just don't think there's a massive gap like the odds suggest in a lot of his numbers. … You've got to get value somewhere when you have so many great hitters in one lineup and he's hitting in the back half. I understand why they're larger numbers but 100-1 is a joke for total bases.”
