Washington State at Oregon – 12/1/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Washington State Cougars and Oregon Ducks face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at Matthew Knight Arena. When these two teams faced off in March it was Washington State that secured the 94-74. 

Washington State comes into this game with a 3-2 record overall and they have gone 3-2 against the spread. In the last game against Detroit the offense scored 96 points and that led to the blowout victory. Guard Jabe Millens had a stron game finishing with 22 points, three assists, and one rebound. Washington State is averaging 76.2 points while their defense is giving up 62.4 points per game. TJ Bamba is averaging 16 points while shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 56.5 percent from behind the three-point line. 

The Oregon Ducks come into this game with a 3-4 record overall and they have gone 3-4 against the spread. In the last game against Villanova, Oregon scored 74 points, and that was enough to secure the seven point victory. Quincy Guerrier put up 21 points and eight rebounds. Oregon is averaging 68 points while their defense is giving up 65 points per game. The defense is ranked 99th in the league, and is going to need to be a strength here. Guard Will Richardson has been the top player for Oregon averaging 13.7 points while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from behind the three point line. Oregon has been tested with their opponents, but they can't just assume this one is going to be an easy win.
