Wake Forest at North Carolina State 11/5/22 – College Football Picks & Predictions

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons continue an ACC road trip Saturday as they travel to Raleigh, NC to take on the North Carolina State Wolfpack. Wake Forest comes into this game with six wins in their first eight games played following a 27 point blowout loss to Louisville that ended a three-game win streak. Offensively Wake Forest moved the ball well eclipsing more than 400 yards to score 21 points but turn the ball over eight times in the game leading to the loss.

Quarterback Sam Hartman had one of his worst games completing 20 of 35 passes for 271 yards and one touchdown but turned the ball over six times in the game. Will Towns led the way on the ground for Wake Forest for 54 yards on 7 carries and Justice Ellison added 22 yards and one touchdown on 8 carries as well. Donavon Greene led the way for the Wake Forest receivers with 75 yards on three receptions.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack continues a homestand this week playing well with a 6-2 record overall following a one point win against Virginia Tech. Offensively North Carolina State rolled accumulating 356 total yards including 296 through the air to score 22 points in the game following a 12 point fourth quarter.
