While the Philadelphia Eagles escaped a tough road test against the New England Patriots with a one-possession victory in Week 1, the Minnesota Vikings are coming off of the bitter taste of defeat.
After losing by a field goal in upset fashion to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, can Minnesota notch a statement win on the road Thursday night? Not if a potentially resurgent D'Andre Swift has anything to say about it.

SGP predictions for Vikings vs. Eagles
Even with Rashaad Penny serving as a healthy scratch, D'Andre Swift was limited to a negligible role in Philadelphia's Week 1 win over New England as the backfield workload was dominated by Kenneth Gainwell. Gainwell, though, has been ruled out for Thursday night due to a rib injury.
Eagles head coach Nick Si riani implied this week that the team would like to see Swift garner more than the one carry and one reception that he received in Week 1. With the previous lead back out of commission, there's no better time to make it happen for Swift.
FanDuel provides better value on this prop than DraftKings, as the FanDuel line is 33.5 yards with standard -110 odds on Over. DraftKings, though, makes Swift clear 34.5 yards to hit the Over, and offers lower-quality odds at -115.

We're doubling down on the versatile Swift being used in multiple ways out of the backfield Thursday. When Siriani discussed the notion of Swift getting more involved for the Eagles offensively, he mentioned Swift's skill set being one that could allow the Eagles to feed the former Detroit Lions' draft pick beyond merely handing the ball off to him.
While a wrench could be thrown into the plans if an active Penny suddenly elevates to workhorse-or if Boston Scott randomly sees more work-we're banking on a course correction for Swift's involvement.
DraftKings doesn't offer a receiving yardage prop on Swift, which makes FanDuel an even more obvious choice for our TNF parlay. FanDuel offers Swift receiving yards at an attainable 16.5 with a standard -110 on the Over.

On paper, the Minnesota passing offense should be one of the top units in the league. Veteran Kirk Cousins distributing the ball to superstar Justin Jefferson (see our Justin Jefferson player props), sturdy tight end T.J. Hockensen, and rookie burner Jordan Addison is a great blueprint for an offense.
But Minnesota's running game leaves much to be desired wi th the underwhelming Alexander Mattison leading the charge. Considering Philly's elite secondary, I just don't see how the Vikings can go blow-for-blow scoring with the Eagles on Thursday night. This line opened at Eagles -7.5, so to see it dip below a touchdown margin feels like a gift to wrap up our parlay. It's a clean sweep for FanDuel on the SGP odds, as FanDuel edges out DraftKings on this -6.5 line, with -102 odds compared to -105 at DK.
