The Vanderbilt Commodores won just their second game in the SEC on Tuesday night with a thrilling 74-73 last-second win over visiting Texas A&M. Ezra Manjon drilled a short jumper in the lane as the clock ran out to steal the win over the Aggies. Texas A&M had just taken the lead following two free throws but watched as the Commodores went the length of the floor to hit the game-winner. Manjon had 17 of his 19 points in the second half while adding four assists as well. Ven-Allen Lubin led Vandy with a career-best 25 points on a tidy 9-of-13 shooting in the game. The game featured 12 ties and 21 lead changes in the game and neither team led by more than four points in the game.

Vandy will try to win their first game in Knoxville since the 2016-17 season. The Commodores have lost 12 of the last 13 games against the Vols overall as well. They comes into this matchup ranked last in the SEC in 14th in points per game this season and last in field goal percentage. They are also just 11th in 3-point shooting and 13th in 3-point field goals made per game. Vanderbilt's defense hasn't been much better, ranking 206th in the country in points allowed this season. The Commodores are allowing teams to shoot over 45% from the floor this season and nearly 40% from 3-point range. They are 12th in the SEC in total rebounds per game this year and eighth in turnovers per game.
