Updated 2023 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Odds See Mac McClung Rise as the Favorite

For the first time in league history, the NBA Slam Dunk Contest will feature a current player from the NBA G League. Not only will Mac McClung be participating in the Dunk Contest, but he's also the favorite to win it, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds.

The Dunk Contest will feature McClung, the Houston Rockets' Kenyon Martin Jr., New York Knicks center Jericho Sims and New Orleans Pelicans wing Trey Murphy III.

McClung is currently on a two-way deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, which means he's limited to only 45 games on the active NBA roster and the rest of his time must be spent in the G League. McClung has bounced around the NBA in his career, but really made a name for himself with an impressive high school highlight reel filled with crazy passes and dunks.
