Tulane upset this Memphis team back when Memphis was ranked 10th in the nation. Immediately after that game, Tulane lost their next three to UTSA, Charlotte and SMU. They were able to bounce back with a win against the Temple Owls in their last outing. Tulane dominated the overtime period, winning 16-4, and miraculously covering for the Tulane bettors. In that game, Tulane was led by forward Kevin Cross with 27 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Cross leads Tulane in scoring and is 4th in the conference at 18.4 PPG. He is a 6'8, 225-pound senior forward who also leads the team with 7.6 RPG and 4.5 APG. Cross has been hot lately, he has scored exactly 27 points in each of his last two games. Jaylen Forbes is the top shooter on the team, he is a 6'5 wing who has made 52 threes on the season. Forbes is second on the team in scoring with 14.0 PPG, and recently had a 23 point game against UTSA. Sion James is another scorer on the wing, he is a 6'6 junior guard adding 14.0 PPG and 5.0 RPG. James had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists against SMU. Collin Holloway is a 6'6 guard scoring 12.7 PPG, and Kolby King is a 6'2 guard adding another 12.3 PPG.

Tulane is currently ranked 115th in the nation according to KenPom. They are 72nd in offensive efficiency, but only 200th in defensive efficiency. Tulane plays at one of the fastest tempos in the nation, ranking 12th in pace of play with their guard heavy lineup. The American Conference is only projected to get two bids to the NCAA Tournament, so Tulane would likely need to win the AAC Tournament to get a bid to the Big Dance.
