Whether he's playing for the Washington Nationals or the Los Angeles Dodgers, Trea Turner has always been a fan favorite. The 29-year-old shortstop has been a star on the West Coast, playing a key role in the Dodgers' success in the 2022 regular season, but where will he play next year?
Turner made his MLB debut for the Nationals on August 21, 2015, and was part of the franchise's World Series-winning team in 2019. He was traded to the Dodgers on July 30, 2021, and on September 26 of that same year, Turner hit his 100th career home run.'
On March 22, 2022, Turner signed a one-year, $21 million contract to stay with the Dodgers, and unless the team offers him another extension, the two-time All-Star (2021 and 2022) will enter free agency.
