Once Upon A Time In Las Vegas – Championship Sunday

Toronto Raptors (22-27) vs. Golden State Warriors (24-24)

The Toronto Raptors continue their seven-game road trip Friday, January 27, 2023, when they square off against the Golden State Warriors in the cross-conference showdown at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, with the tip-off at 10:00 PM ET.

Toronto and Golden State wrap up their two-game regular set. Back in December, the Warriors beat the Raptors 126-110 as 6-point road dogs.

The Toronto Raptors (22-27; 25-24 ATS) started their current trip on a high note. They trounced the Sacramento Kings 113-95 as 3.5-point underdogs this past Wednesday. The Raptors pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Kings 26-17 in the third quarter.

Toronto notched 58 points in the paint at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. The Raptors took full advantage of the Kings’ interior defense which has struggled all season. Pascal Siakam led the way with 26 points1 11 rebounds, seven assists, and a couple of steals and blocks, while Precious Achiuwa had 19 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field.

“We looked good and felt good,” said Fred VanFleet, who scored 17 points for T oronto. “We were locked in. We have had our struggles this year.”

The Raptors are fourth in the league in offensive rebound percentage (27.2%). They own the best turnover percentage in the NBA (10.5%) but rank 28th in effective field goal percentage (51.2%). The Raptors make 11.1 triples per 100 possessions (23rd) on a poor 33.4 percentage clip (28th). Toronto scores 115.0 points per 100 possessions (10th) and surrenders 114.4 points in return (tied-18th).
