The Toronto Raptors are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Boston Celtics Saturday night. Toronto downed Dallas 127-116 on the road Wednesday night, winning outright as a four-point underdog in their previous contest. Boston was in action at home Friday night as they faced Brooklyn in the front half of a back-to-back set. The Celtics fell 106-103 on the road to Philadelphia in their previous game Wednesday night, losing outright as a 2.5-point favorite. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Celtics own a 66-42 advantage and took all four meetings last season. That includes a 121-102 home win in the most recent matchup on April 7, 2023.

Toronto won their second straight game on this four-game road swing that comes to a close here as they beat Dallas Wednesday night. The Raptors entered Friday 4-4 on the season and stood tied for third in the Atlantic Division, 2.5 games behind the 76ers for the top spot in the standings. Against Dallas, Toronto trailed by as many as nine in the opening quarter and by six after the opening stanza. The Raptors rallied to lead by three at the half and used a 13-1 run midway through the third quarter to turn a 73-73 tie into an 86-74 lead with 4:47 to play in the third quarter. Toronto never let Dallas closer than five the rest of the way. The Raptors shot 49.5% from the field, including 11 of 36 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle by a 50-38 margin. Pascal Siakam led Toronto with 31 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in the win.
