The MLB All-Star Game is here! After an electric performance from multiple sluggers at last night's Home Run Derby, we're ready to win some bets on the All-Star Game on Tuesday night. While there is rarely great data available to bettors for this game, thre are certainly some trends to take note of. These are our three favorite plays if you're going to bet on the MLB All-Star Game.

1. Under 7.5 Runs (-120)

We get it, this one sounds a bit scary knowing the best hitters in the entire sport will be representing both sides in this game. But don't forget – the same is true for pitchers. This is a nod to the old adage of “defense wins championships”. More often than not, the best pitchers dominate the best hitters in a format like this. To that point, U7.5 runs has occurred in 10 of last 14 MLB All-Star Games.  Most pitchers in this game will only get one inning to show what they are capable of, and we expect them to be at their best tonight across the board. -120 seems like great value.
