The St. Louis Blues have won five of their last six games overall including the previous three over Arizona 2-1, Colorado 8-2, and Tampa Bay 5-0. Last Tuesday, the Blues blanked the Lightning in front of the home audience, and Jordan Binnington turned 30 shots aside for his shutout of the season.

St. Louis didn’t have a single power-play opportunity against Tampa Bay, but that didn’t slow down the Blues’ offense. Jordan Kyrou scored a pair of goals, while Pavel Buchnevich and Torey Krug accounted for two assists apiece.

The Blues lean on their defense, allowing just 2.50 goals per game (5th in the NHL). They are scoring 2.93 goals in return (tied-21st in the league), and the Blues’ power-play percentage of 7.69 is tied for the second-worst in the NHL.

Jordan Binnington is projected to patrol the crease Thursday. The 30-year-old goalie holds a 5-4-1 record this season along with a 2.27 GAA and a .930 save percentage. Binnington has emerged victorious in three of his previous four starts.
