The Kraken lost each of the first three games on the Eastern Conference portion of their trip before pulling out a 2-1 win on Tuesday night via the shootout. Tomas Totar's wrist shot was the lone goal of the shootout as the Kraken completed a season sweep of the Islanders, winning both games via the shootout. Matty Beniers scored the lone goal in regulation, his 7th, in the first period. Goalie Phillip Grubauer turned away 26-of-27 shots and all four shootout attempts to pick up the win.

Seattle hopes to close out the road trip with a win over the Bruins in Boston. They split the season series with Boston last year during the Bruins NHL record-setting run.
