It's a Sunday showdown in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference as the Manhattan Jaspers host the Saint Peter's Peacocks. The Jaspers are 8-14 overall and 6-7 in the MAAC while the Peacocks are 10-13 overall and 5-9 in the conference. St. Peter's beat Manhattan 67-57 at home back on December 30th as a 5 point favorite. The Saint Peter's Peacocks won the MAAC last year and were the darlings of the NCAA tournament as they advanced to the Elite Eight with wins over Kentucky, Murray State and Purdue in the tournament. They lost to UNC in the Elite 8. This season has been quite different as a tournament bid is a long shot, and it wrests on them winning the MACC tournament. The odds are good for that as they are 10-13 overall and 5-9 in the MAAC.

The Peacocks are coming off a 67-56 win over Marist on Friday as a 2.5 point favorite. Marist is a team below them in the standings, so it was expected. Kyle Cardaci led St. Peter's with 16 points while Jaylen Murray added 14 points. Latrell Reid and Isiah Dasher each added 10 points for the Peacocks. St. Peter's only shot 34% from the floor but made 77% of their foul shots. Dasher leads the team with 14.2 points per game this season. St. Peter's is ranked No. 299 in the nation in the KenPom power rankings.
