Rams 2022 NFL futures odds, trends: Bettors expecting Los Angeles to repeat in NFC West, not so much as Super Bowl champion

Los Angeles Rams camp is underway, and the defending league champions are taking a bit of a mixed bag in terms of action on their 2022 NFL futures odds at Caesars Sportsbook. Coach Sean McVay's team is +1100 to win Super Bowl 57, and the Rams are just seventh in tickets at 4.7 percent and eighth in handle at 5.2 percent among all SB bets taken at Caesars. Where the Rams are getting a lot of love is at +135 to win the NFC West again.

They have taken 64 percent of all mon ey wagered on the NFC West futures. Only one team has had more lopsided action by handle to win its respective division — the Indianapolis Colts (-115) at 69 percent in the AFC South. San Francisco looks to be good again in the NFC West but also will have a new starting QB this year in the inexperienced Trey Lance. The Cardinals won't have Pro Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins for the first six games due to suspension, and the Seahawks are rebuilding after trading Russell Wilson.

A total of three bets have come in at Caesars on the Rams to finish 17-0, tied with Dallas for the second-most of any team behind Buffalo with 19 such wagers. Yet the Rams are only 15th in handle to finish with the NFL's best overall record (tied with Chiefs at +400 for fourth-lowest odds), trailing teams such as the Panthers, Saints, Dolphins and Cardinals.

The Rams host the Bills in the Kickoff Game, in what could be a Super Bowl 57 preview. Los Angeles has gone from a 1-point favorite to a 1-point underdog. Buffalo is taking 91 percent of all money wagered on the spread and 82 percent of the tickets, while the Bills at -110 are getting 99 percent of the money and 95 percent of the tickets on the moneyline.
