The Princeton Tigers (2-0; 2-0-0 ATS) and Duquesne Dukes (3-0; 2-1-0 ATS) are sharing a floor for the first time since 2019 this week. Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. EDT, each team will try to remain undefeated in this young season. The Dukes are hosting in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Will the Dukes remain perfect at home, or are the Tigers going to take them down?

Princeton passed their first pair of tests with flying colors, seven-point victories over Rutgers and Hofstra. The Tigers were underdogs for both games but used their slow tempo to walk away victorious. It helps that the team has hit 38.9% of their threes to begin the season. Princeton is also knocking down 75.0% of their free throws, which has helped them score 142 points in two games. Matt Allocco (17.0 ppg on 63.6% shooting) is one of Princeton's four double-digit scorers. Caden Pierce is also at 17.0 ppg but has 30 rebounds this season too. The Tigers are shooting 43.9% and it has led them to a couple of upset wins.

Princeton's slow tempo has helped them hold their first two foes to 128 total points. That the Tigers have kept those teams to 31.6% three-point shooting and only 18 total free throw attempts pressured the offenses even more. The Tigers haven't had any issues finishing po ssessions either, winning the rebounding battle in both contests. They may not get many blocks or steals, but this young Princeton roster has done just about everything else well. Can they sustain that play for a third upset win?
