Portland vs. San Diego Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-15-2024

The Portland Pilots are traveling to the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Thursday night to take on the San Diego Toreros in West Coast Conference action. The Pilots (9-17, 3-8 WCC) are on a two-game losing streak after a 76-51 home loss against the Saint Mary’s Gaels on Saturday. The Toreros (15-11, 5-6) are on a three-game winning streak after an 89-84 road victory on Saturday against the Pacific Tigers.

The defense struggled a bit as Saint Mary’s was able to shoot 40.6% from the field, 40.0% from distance and 13 trips to the charity stripe. 

 

The offense for the Portland Pilots is scoring at a good level as they are averaging 72.3 points per game while shooting 44.0% from the field. The defense needs to improve as they are allowing 80.7 points per game so far this season.
