This Saturday, the (7-4) Pittsburgh Panthers will travel to Miami Gardens, FL to take on the (5-6) Miami Hurricanes. Kickoff will be at 8:00 PM EST inside Hard Rock Stadium. The last time that these two teams matched up, the Hurricanes walked away with a 38-34 win.

The Pittsburgh Panthers are coming into this one after taking down the Duke Blue Devils, 28-26. They efficiently moved the ball through the air, as they threw for 290 yards. They will need to stay hot on the offensive side of the field if they want to challenge the Hurricanes on the road.

The Miami Hurricanes are entering this matchup after falling to Clemson, 40-10. This game was never close, as the Tigers dominated on both sides of the field. Miami will have to score more points in this one if they want to take down the Panthers at home.

 

The Pittsburgh Panthers are currently in third place in the Coastal division, as they are (4-3) inside the conference this season. They will have to win this game if they want to move up in the ranks. On offense, the Panthers are scoring 29.8 points per game and averaging 393 total yards. This is the 56th most points scored per game and the 65th most yards. They have shown that they can move the ball through the air or on the ground, as they run a balanced offense. Pittsburgh is currently throwing for 217.5 yards per game, which is the 86th most in the nation. Kedon Slovis will get the start at quarterback, as he has thrown for seven touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. He will target Jared Wayne consistently throughout this game, as he has recorded 807 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season. Pittsburgh has also shown that they can pound the rock on the ground. They are averaging 175.5 rushing yards per game, which is the 52nd most in the nation. Israel Abanikanda is the Panthers' lead back, as he has recorded 1,320 yards this season and scored 18 touchdowns. Last week, he ran for 113 yards and scored a touchdown against Duke.
