Against the Clippers, Phoenix led by two after the opening quarter, trailed by nine at the half and was even with 4:45 to play in the third quarter before reeling off a 25-8 run to end the quarter up 17. The Suns withstood a charge by the Clippers, who drew within two with 1:58 to play, to earn the win. Phoenix shot 54.3% from the field, including 13 of 26 from three-point range, and held the Clippers to 45.3% shooting in the game. Devin Booker led the Suns with 47 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists in the win.

The Suns enter this contest 2nd in the league in scoring offense as they average 122 points per game in the postseason.
