PGA Tour Championship 2022: Round 4 Head-to-Head Best Bets

Spotty rainstorms created multiple rain delays on Saturday during the third round of the PGA Tour Championship. This ultimately led to several pairings finishing their third round on Sunday morning. It will be a unique wrinkle to conquer at the biggest event of the 2021-22 PGA season. Despite the adverse conditions, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, and Hideki Matsuyama all carded rounds of seven-under-par to climb the leaderboard into finishes of T8 or higher.

Both of my underdog picks failed to hit on Saturday, while Sungjae Im outplayed Joaquin Niemann to finish with a four-stroke lead as a -125 favorite in Round 3. Brian Harman finished only one stroke behind Viktor Hovland, ruining his +115 betting odds, while Justin Thomas caught fire and left Matt Fitzpatrick (+100) in the dust. The weather should cooperate for the fourth and final round at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, creating faster Bermudagrass greens to challenge irons and putters alike.

Here are three of my favorite Round 4 head-to-head best bets to lay during Sunday’s fourth and final round at East Lake for the 2022 PGA Tour Championship. All plays below are one unit each, or 1% of your betting bankroll.
