The Panthers were without defenseman Brandon Montour (and Aaron Ekblad) to begin the season after offseason surgeries. Montour only has 11 points in 36 games after racking up 73 in 80 games last season, but he's been aggressive in shooting the puck.

Montour is averaging just under three shots per game this season (93 shots in 36 games) and has gone Over 2.5 shots in just under half of his contests (17 of 36). 

However, the blueliner has 39 shots in his last 12 games, including three or more shots in nine of those contests. In fact, he's had four or more in six of those 12 games, so laddering Montour's shots may not be a bad option on Wednesday.
