The Oklahoma City Thunder will hit the road on Tuesday night and battle the Orlando Magic on the road in an inter-conference showdown. The OKC Thunder head to the East Coast on Tuesday night as they take on the upstart Orlando Magic in a battle of two of the rising franchises in the NBA. On Super Bowl Sunday the Thunder took down the visiting Sacramento Kings 127-123 to pick up their first victory over the Kings in three tries this season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 38 points while Jalen Williams chipped in with 32 points to lead the Kings to a win. The duo combined to hit 28-of-46 on the night and Gilgeous-Alexander had seven assists while Williams had nine assists and eight rebounds.

“SGA (Gilgeous-Alexander) played like an MVP candidate,” Kings coach Mike Brown said. “We threw the kitchen sink at him and he still scored 38. And then Jalen Williams was really, really big. And I say he’s big because he had 32 but he was extremely e fficient throughout the course of the night.”

The Kings remain in the fight for the top spot in the Western Conference as they continue to defy the odds and remain a top flight team int0 2023-24. The Kings are fifth in the NBA in scoring offense this season. They are third in field goal shooting and third in 3-point shooting. The Thunder are only 11th in the NBA in 3-point field goals per game. They are just 13th in scoring defense this season. The Thunder are third in field goal defense but just 13th in 3-point defense. On the glass, the Thunder are just 28th in the NBA in total rebounds per game. Despite their youth, the Kings are a solid fourth in the NBA in fewest turnovers per game.
