The Ohio Bobcats (6-3, 6-3, ATS, 6-3 O/U) collide with the Miami Ohio Redhawks (4-5, 4-5 ATS, 1-8 O/U) in early week MAC action on Tuesday evening. The Bobcats stayed hot with a home win against a good Buffalo team last week. The Redhawks posted a dominating road win against Akron in their previous action. Ohio recorded a 35-33 home win in the meeting last season. 

The Ohio Bobcats are battling for the top spot in the MAC East. They are even with Buffalo and Bowling Green for the top spot with a 4-1 conference record. Ohio is enjoying a stellar winning streak, collecting the win in four consecutive bouts propelled by a barrage of points. They beat NIU two weeks ago and were labeled 2.5-point dogs in a 45-24 home win against Buffalo last Tuesday. The Bobcats have now covered the spread in all five conference games.

Kurtis Rourke has been outstanding. The junior QB amassed 317 passing yards last week and has now eclipsed 300 yards five times this season. Rourke has collected 2725 passing yards accompanied by a sharp 21:4 TD to INT ratio and has added 234 rushing yards.

Ohio doesn’t run as often as most teams and the rushing offense ranks 103rd in the FBS as result. Sieh Bangura has the ability for big performances. The freshm an RB has reached 100 rushing yards in two out of his last four games and has 495 rushing yards on 4.6 yards per carry. Sam Wiglusz continues to be targeted frequently. The senior WR brought in 131 receiving yards last week and leads the squad with 710 yards. The Ohio offense has scored at least 33 points in three out of their last four games. 

The Bobcats' defense struggled early in the season but has been much better in the last few games. They have conceded 24 or fewer points in three straight games. They limited Buffalo to only 260 total yards last week. The pass defense ranks 130th while the rush defense is 81st. Ohio is scoring an average of 33.4  points, good for 35th. They are conceding an average of 33.2 points, pegging them 116th in the FBS.
