Notre Dame at Florida State – 12/21/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Florida State Seminoles face off on Wednesday in a college basketball showdown at the Donald L Tucker Center. When these two teams faced off in March it was Florida State that secured the 74-70 victory. 

Notre Dame comes into this game with a 7-4 record and they have gone 2-9 against the spread. In the last game against Georgia, the offense only scored 62 points, and that led to the 15 point defeat. Notre Dame is averaging 71.5 points while their defense is giving up 69.6 points per game. The defense is ranked 210th but in this game it’s going to be most important that the offense gets going. Nate Laszewski is averaging 15.4 points while shooting 53.9 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Florida State who sits with a 3-10 record overall and they have gone 5-8 against the spread. In the last game against St. John’s the defense gave up 93 points and that led to the defeat. The offense was led by Darin Green Jr and he finished with 30 points. Florida State is averaging 68.4 points while their defense is giving up 73.3 points per game. The offense hasn’t been good enough for this team and it will need to be different here in this game. Darin Green Jr has been the top player for the Seminoles averaging 14.2 points while shooting 44.1 percent from the field.
