North Dakota State at New Mexico – 11/26/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The North Dakota State Bison will remain in Albuquerque and take on the New Mexico Lobos from The Pit in non-conference action Saturday night.

North Dakota State is 1-5 after falling to Northern Colorado last night. The Bison endured another double-digit defeat, and it’s safe to say they’ve fallen victim to vicious scheduling early on. NDSU is scoring 70.8 points per game, while shooting 48.1% from the field, and 29.9% from three.

Grant Nelson will look to turn the tide for his hometown team soon. The junior forward had a monster game last night against Northern Colorado, going for a career-high 31 points, and he’s leading NDSU in both scoring (16.4) and rebounding (7.8). His frontcourt mate Andrew Morgan has been formidable alongside him, tying the team-lead in boards at 7.8 rpg, while scoring 13.3 ppg. Freshman guard Tajavis Miller (11.2 ppg) is breaking through as a scorer in the backcourt despite a cold night versus Northern Colorado.
