The New Mexico State Aggies and North Carolina A&T Aggies face off on Thursday in the Sun Bowl Invational at the Don Haskins Center.
New Mexico State comes into this game with a 6-5 record overall and they have lost two of their last three games. North Carolina A&T comes into this game with a 5-7 record overall and they have lost two games in a row. In the last game on Wednesday against UTEP the offense only managed 62 points and ended up losing by 13 points. In this game they need to find a way to get the offense going. North Carolina A&T is averaging 71 points while their defense is giving up 70.9 points per game. The offense and defense both been exactly elite this season, Guard Cam Woods has been the top player so far this season averaging 17.8 points while shooting 40 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from behind the three point line.
