There are just 2 NHL games on the board tonight, but they're both being featured on TNT. It's the perfect time to get national eyes on the league as we hit the home stretch to the postseason. The first of the 2 games is an incredible matchup as well. The Pittsburgh Penguins head to Colorado to face off against the Stanley Cup-champion Avalanche. Both teams look playoff-bound, so we've come up with a Same Game Pa rlay to make the matchup that much more exciting.

Pittsburgh Penguins ML (+130) over Colorado Avalanche

Being in opposite conferences, the Pens and Avs don't play often. However, they have met recently. Just after the All-Star break, we saw a hard-fought 2-1 Penguins win in Pittsburgh. In last year's matchups, the Avs took both games by final scores of 3-2 and 6-4. It's clear that we should expect another close matchup. It's no surprise that the Avs are favored on home ice; however, that provides even more value on the Pens. Colorado is coming off a convincing 5-0 win, but that came against a bad Chicago Blackhawks team.'

The Pens have been dealing with the New York Rangers recently, which is a tough team to score on. Ironically enough, they'll now be facing the Rangers backup goaltender from last year in Alexandar Georgiev. It also doesn't help the Avs that last year's Norris Trophy winner for the league's best defenseman, Cale Makar, continues to deal with injuries and missed Monday's game. Pittsburgh may not make it as deep into the playoffs as Colorado, but they still have top-tier talent with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang.''''
