Dallas been resilient this postseason. In their first 2 series', the Stars had series deficits twice. Despite 4 total series deficits, they advanced to the following round beyond each opponent. Being down 3-0 against the Golden Knights was far from ideal. But they were resilient once again and now find themselves needing just 2 wins. Dallas has momentum and will get even more from the home crowd. The Stars will come out buzzing.
The Golden Knights have not dominated this series as much as the initial 3-0 series lead would indicate. Vegas won the first 2 games in overtime, then were outshot 34-16 in their Game 3 win. That is not domination. If the Stars stuck with what works, it was only going to be a matter of time. Sure enough, they took Game 4 in overtime and had a multi-goal win in Game 5. The Stars are building game over game. Look for them to have some extra jam at home.
