NHL Player Props Predictions 1: Connor McDavid, Oilers 0.5 Power Play Points (+110) DK
Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid ranks 9th in the NHL with 27 power play points on the season including 22 assists and 7 goals.
The Oilers power play ranks 4th on the year with a 26.5% success rate and they have been even better over their last 10 games at 35%.
The Arizona Coyotes set him up with a dream matchup tonight as they average the 6th most penalties (3.6/game) on the season and the MOST in the (4.3) in the last 10 days.
The Coyotes have given up a power play goal in 9 of their last 12 home games and their penalty kill sits bottom 12 in the league at well below 80%.
On top of that, the Coyotes are playing the second leg of a back-to-back and tired legs typically lead to penalties. The Oilers have recorded a power play goal in 6 straight games against Arizona with 11 PPGs in those games.
More importantly, McDavid has recorded a power play goal in 5 of those 6 games. Rookie goaltender Matt Villatla will be making his first career NHL start tonight and he has a brutal matchup against the potent offense of McDavid and the Oilers.

NHL Player Props Predictions 2: Nikita Kucherov, Lightning 3.5 Shots on Goal (-145) DK
Tampa Bay Lightning right winger Nikita Kucherov has recorded 4+ shots on goal in 34 of his 55 games on the season for a 62% success rate.
Kucherov prefers home cooking as he’s cleared this total in each of his last six home games and 69% on the season which translates into a 15% increase compared to on the road.
His shot volume is also through the roof of late at home recently with an average of 8.9 shot attempts in his last 10 games.
The Ottawa Senators rank 16th in shots on goal allowed to right wingers and 14th over the last 10 games. However, Kucherov has eclipsed this mark in both head-to-head games against them this season with 4 and 5 shot on goal.
The Lightning were embarrassed on Saturday at home in a 9-2 loss to the Florida Panthers in a game where Kucherov did record 4 shots on goal.
Look for Kucherov and company to let out that frustration tonight against a weak opponent in the Senators.
