NHL Friday parlay at mega (+885) odds, today 12/2

With a small 3-game Friday night, it may seem like there's not enough action for a big night of profit. However, we have just enough to piece together our favorite plays for a mega parlay. Both New York teams are on home ice, including a rematch of a game from just 2 nights ago. The evening is capped off with a matchup in Canada, and we have a play on all 3 games. Let's check out how our experts predict each contest should play out.

Before we dive in, be sure to check out our NHL picks for Friday's action.

Ottawa Senators vs New York Rangers – Under 6.5 (-120)

The Senators and Rangers just played on Wednesday night and helped us cash our +913 mega parlay. New York will likely have another strong game now on home ice, but we're going to focus on the total this time around. Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin lived up to his expectations 2 nights ago by allowing just 1 goal to the Sens. He is looking to win back-to-back Vezina Trophies for the NHL's best goaltender, and more performances like that certainly help.'

He will be back in net on Friday, so there's no reason to expect Ottawa to perform any better on the road. However, the Senators’ goaltending is actually better away from their home arena. Allowing 3.3 goals per game isn't perfect, but it's at least middle of the pack and should get the job done. That's also because the Rangers’ offense has not exactly been clicking in the Big Apple. When in New York, the Rangers are scoring just 2.67 goals per game — the 4th fewest in the NHL. Given how these teams are performing in their respective roles, we should be in for another low-scoring affair just like was the case earlier this week.

New York Islanders -1.5 (+162) over Nashville Predators
