NHL All-Star Game Predictions, Odds: Can Team Matthews Win in Toronto?iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The NHL All-Star draft is in the books and we have our rosters for Saturday's four-team tournament. Read on for our NHL All-Star Game predictions based on the best NHL odds.

The NHL switched things up this year as they brought back the player draft at the All-Star Game. In recent years, the four divisions faced off in the four-team tournament, but this year there were four captains (and co-captains) who hand-picked their rosters for Saturday's action.

With the All-Star Game being in Toronto, Auston Matthews' team is full of Maple Leafs and should have some extra motivation on Saturday.

Here are our best NHL All-Star Game predictions and NHL picks (odds via our best NHL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Best NHL All-Star Game picks

Team Matthews is loaded up with four Maple Leafs skaters for the All-Star Game tournament in Toronto. Auston Matthews and Morgan Reilly were co-captains who then selected forwards William Nylander and Mitch Marner to join them.

The home-ice advantage with the crowd behind them is one thing, and their chemistry is another. All four of those Leafs are on Toronto's top power-play unit with Matthews and Marner both on the top line as well. It'll be interesting to see if they go with one trio while leaving one Le af on his lonesome or if they'll do two pairs (likely Matthews and Marner then Nylander and Reilly).

Nevertheless, All-Star Games are usually dart throws so anything can happen, but Team Matthews has the most chemistry and you have to think they'll want to bring it home for the Toronto crowd — just like Matthew Tkachuk did last year in Florida.

Handicapping an All-Star Game can be difficult when you don't exactly know which players are taking it more seriously than others, but it does help to look at a team's goaltending.

Team McDavid has arguably the best goaltending duo with Vezina Trophy favorite Connor Hellebuyck and Sergei Bobrovsky, who backstopped the Panthers to the Stanley Cup Final last season. On the other hand, Team MacKinnon has Alexandar Georgiev — who some think shouldn't be an All-Star due to his .898 SV% — and Jeremy Swayman.

Of course, Connor McDavid i s the best player in the world for a reason and he hasn't lost since mid-December. We'll hope that continues for at least one game at All-Star weekend.

Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews is already having a fantastic season. He has 58 points (40 goals, 18 assists) in 46 games and is on pace for the first 70-goal season since Teemu Selanne in 1992-93.

If his team wins the All-Star Game Tournament, which we think they will, Matthews will likely be one of the few options to pick from for MVP. Of course, Mitch Marner and William Nylander could end up there as well, but Matthews is the captain and the man in Toronto.
