When the Bengals and Rams met earlier this week in a joint practice, things got a bit out of hand. The practice had to be shortened due to an all-out brawl that involved Aaron Donald falling on the ground with a Bengals helmet in his hand. Both coaches, I’m sure, have acknowledged to their players that they won’t tolerate that behavior going into this game. But emotions could get the best of some of these guys. There’s some bad blood between these two teams right now.

The Bengals are currently 0-2 in the preseason after reaching the Super Bowl last season. I wouldn’t worry about this too much. The Bengals have ultimately played their backups throughout the preseason and will probably continue doing that going into tonight’s game. The Bengals have scored over 21 points in each of their two games but have also allowed 36 and 25 points in their two preseason game respectively. Cincinnati has been using Brandan Allen, Jake Browning, and Drew Plitt under center and none of those three have really stood out.
