NFL first touchdown scorer player prop picks
After a few so-so weeks of betting first touchdowns, I was beginning to wonder if I had lost my mojo. And then Week 17 rolled around and filled up my betting account thanks to FIVE winning tickets. All of which I wrote about in last week’s article before the games. My system is pretty simple, track all of the first touchdowns for every team, and use that to narrow the field based on which teams are better than others at scoring first and which players get used the most. I won’t pretend that I’ve been predicting five games right every week, but I still have yet to have a week with zero. Not bad!
Before I jump into the final week of the regular season, here are my takeaways from Week 17 in the form of my friends and foes…

CeeDee Lamb & Jerome Ford: Both players scored their seventh FTD (first touchdown) of the season the past week, which gives us a three-way tie for the FTD King of the season with Christian McCaffrey. With CMC sitting out in Week 18, I’ll be very interested to see if either guy can get their eighth and take the regular season crown. With favorable matchups based on FTD success rates, I’ll definitely have bets on both Lamb against the Commanders and Ford against the Bengals.
