New Jersey Transit grants BetMGM naming rights for rail line

New Jersey commuters will soon be seeing a lot more of BetMGM after the brand inked a three-year sponsorship agreement with NJ Transit (NJT), the Garden State’s public transportation system.

As a result, the route between Meadowlands Station and Secaucus Junction has been renamed to the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line.

This agreement granting BetMGM naming rights is the first of its kind for NJT and will add “additional non-farebox revenue.”

New Jersey’s Democratic Governor Phil Murphy is committed to keeping fares “affordable,” which his administration hopes to achieve by “identifying new revenue streams.”
