New Jersey reports 10% increase in August total gaming revenue

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported total gaming revenue of $470.7m for August 2022, a 10% increase from the $427.7m reported in August 2021.

Leading the way was Borgata, with the venue reporting total gaming revenue of $120.7m for the period.

The figure includes revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners. For the year-to-date, total gaming revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners is $3.38bn, a 13% increase from the $2.99bn reported in the prior-year period.

Based upon filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, total casino win for the nine casino hotel properties in the state for August 2022 was $274m, representing a 4% increase from the $262.4m reported for August 2021.
