New England Patriots at Minnesota Vikings – 11/24/22 NFL Picks and Prediction

The New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings face off on Thursday night in a Thanksgiving NFL showdown at US Bank Stadium.

The Patriots sit with a 6-4 record and they have gone 6-4 against the spread. The defense has been really strong over the last two games giving up only six points total. In the last game against the New York Jets, it took a kick return touchdown in the last minute to secure the 10-3 victory. Mac Jones completed 23 of his 37 passes for 246 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The Patriots are averaging 21.3 points while their defense is giving up 16.9 points per game. The defense is ranked second in the league. Center David Andrews is dealing with a thigh injury and his status is unclear for this game. In this game, the Patriots will need the defense to be strong.

On the other side of this matchup is the Vikings who sit with an 8-2 record and they have gone 4-5-1 against the spread. The Vikings have had a strong season but are coming off a 40-3 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys. The offensive line was awful and couldn’t keep Kirk Cousins upright. Star tackle Christian Darrisaw is dealing with a concussion and has already been ruled out for this game. The Vikings might need to change up the game plan to try and get Cousins some more time in the pocket. The Vikings are averaging 22.9 points while their defense is giving up 23.1 points per game.
