Nets at Knicks Prediction – NBA Picks 2/13/23

The Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks duke it out once again at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

The Brooklyn Nets have been in fair shape as they’ve split their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling just short to the 76ers in a 101-98 loss on Saturday. Mikal Bridges led the team with 23 points on eight of 18 shooting, Joe Harris added 18 points on six of nine shooting off the bench while Cam Thomas chipped in with 14 points off the bench. As a team, the Nets shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got the better of the 76ers in the first half to build a 12-point lead, but they never put the 76ers away and it cost them as they managed just 16 points in the fourth quarter to allow the 76ers to steal the game in a tight finish.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last six games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after beating the Jazz in a 126-120 home win on Saturday. Jalen Brunson led the way with 38 points and five assists, Julius Randle added 31 points on 12 of 26 shooting while RJ Barrett chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Knicks shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 36 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start with 33 points in the first quarter and held a 12-point lead, before they used a pivotal 8-0 run late in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow win in the end.
