NC A&T vs. UNCW Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-15-2024

The North Carolina A&T Aggies are traveling to the Trask Coliseum on Thursday evening to take on the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in Colonial Athletic Association action. The Aggies (7-18, 5-7 CAA) are on a three-game losing streak after an 81-49 home loss on Saturday to the Hofstra Pride. The Seahawks (18-6, 9-3) are on a four-game winning streak after a 95-65 road win against the Hampton Pirates on Saturday. 



The North Carolina A&T Aggies are coming off a tough 81-49 home loss to the Hofstra Pride and it’s hard to win scoring 15 points at halftime. The Aggies were struggling offensively as they went 14-of52 (26.9%) throughout the game, 3-of-17 (17.6%) from beyond the arc and 24 opportunities at the charity stripe. Sophomore guard Camian Shell led the way for them as he recorded 14 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 37 minutes of action. Hofstra had an outstanding shooting night as they had a team shooting split of 50.8/50.0/83.3 during the game. 

 

The offense for the North Carolina A&T Aggies need to do a bit more as they are scoring 67.1 points per game while connecting on 39.7% of their shots. The defense has all owed 78.8 points per game so far this season.
