NBA Player Prop Predictions 1: DeMar DeRozan
Chicago Bulls small forward DeMar DeRozan started the season averaging 21.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4 assists on 43.7% shooting from the field.
Tonight, DeRozan’s assists line sits at 5.5, a total he has achieved only once in five games with 7 assists in his last game against the Dallas Mavericks. That was a road game and what’s interesting is he has recorded far less assists at home with only 2 & 3 compared to 7, 4 and 4 on the road.
This is a trend that dates back to last season, clearing this total in 12 of 39 home games for a 31% success rate compared to 21 of 41 on the road for a 51% success rate.
DeRozan also only recorded 6 assists once in four games against the Brooklyn Nets last season and that game was also played on the road. Let’s continue to ride this trend with a Demar under 5.5 tonight in Chicago.

Jokic has recorded a double-double in all five games this season and a triple-double in two of those games.
Similar to Derozan, Jokers has interesting home/road assist splits only his numbers improve at home. In home games this season, he has dished out 11 assists twice compared to only 3, 5 and 7 on the road.
This trend also played out last season where Joker recorded 9+ assists in 37 of 47 games for a 79% success rate compared to 25 of 46 road games for only a 54% success rate.
Jokic only played the Dallas Mavericks twice last season and those were home games where he posted 8 and 10 assists. We only need 9 assists to cash this ticket with an appealing +100 price for a player who has two 11 assist games at home thus far.
