NBA Player Props & Best Bets Today: Schedule, Picks for Tuesdayiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Combos are the focus of Tuesday's nine-game slate, and we're offering our NBA player props and best bets for Tuesday based on the best NBA odds.

Tuesday's NBA slate is full of great player props thanks to nine games on the docket.

Darius Garland and the shorthanded Cavaliers face the red-hot Boston Celtics in Cleveland. Can Garland get it done with Donovan Mitchell on the sidelines?

Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun and the Houston Rockets will look to take down the San Antonio Spurs with star rookie Victor Wembanyama banged up.

Finally, Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic have been hot since the break, and we're going back to the well as the Dallas Mavericks face the Indiana Pacers and the Denver Nuggets square off against the Phoenix Suns.

Here are our NBA player props and best bets for Tuesday (NBA picks based on odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Tuesday's NBA player props

Donovan Mitchell and Caris LeVert will be out Tuesday, which means a monster game from Garland, right? Let's pump the brakes a little bit.

Though Garland has averaged 23.3 points in eight games without Mitchell this season, he scored at least 22 points only four times, and two of those games were against the Detroit Pistons. Tuesday's opponent offers a much stiffer challenge.

Garland is averaging 18.4 points per game this season, his fewest in three seasons. He's averaged 18.1 at home compared to 18.6 on the road, and Garland has hit this mark in only 11 of 36 appearances. He's done it in two of his last three, but that followed a 14-game drought.

We're taking the Under because Boston's defense will focus on Garland without Mitchell (and to a lesser degree, LeVert). Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are excellent perimeter defenders, and they'll make things tough on Garland, even on his home court.

We'd be comfortable betting this one down to 20.5 at our best sports betting sites, but the 21.5 line offers a little extra insurance with standard juice.

Victor Wembanyama is dealing with a sore shoulder and is listed as questionable against Houston. The Spurs' defensive rating falls from 111 to 117.9 in games without Wemby this season, and that rating is even worse when his backup Zach Collins is on the court (119.6).

Even if Wemby is available, we'll take the Over on Sengun's PRA total here. In two matchups against the Rookie of the Year favorite, Sengun averaged 20 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists, good for 37 PRA. He hit the Over in one of those matchups.

In his last six, Sengun has averaged just 30.8 PRA, but tonight's matchup is highly favorable and a great bounce-back opportunity. He's hit at least 38 PRA in 20 of 59 games this season, or a little better than one out of every three.

San Antonio allows the sixth-most points and sixth-most rebounds to opponents, and Sengun has averaged 35.8 PRA at home compared to 33.7 on the road.

Doncic has been on a tear since returning from the All-Star break. We bet the Over on his PRA prop against Boston, and we're going back to the well on Tuesday.

Over his last six, Doncic has averaged a whopping 58.3 PRA and hit this mark in five of six outings. The only game he didn't go for at least 54 was against the Pacers, when he posted 33 points, six rebounds, and six assists in a blowout 138-111 loss at Indiana.

Tuesday's matchup in Dallas should be much closer, and Doncic has averaged 54 PRA at home compared to 52.3 on the road. He's hit the Over on this line in more than half of his games, doing so in 27 of 53 appearances.

The Pacers are second in pace, and the Mavericks are seventh. The Over/Under for this one is set at 246, which means we should be in line for a high-scoring, fast-paced contest. We'll take the Over until Doncic shows us that we shouldn't.

Jokic has also been hot since the break, averaging 50.7 PRA and hitting the Over on this line in four of six outings. Jokic has averaged 46.3 PRA at home this season and hit this mark in 32 of 59 games, or 54.2%. The implied probability of -104 odds is just 50.4%, so we're getting a discount based on Jokic's performance this season.

Joker posted 42 PRA against Phoenix in his lone matchup this season, and he averaged 59.5 PRA in two games against the Suns a season ago.

The Suns allow the seventh-fewest rebounds to opponents this season (50.2), but over the last three, they've allowed the fourth most (58.9). Phoenix is also middle-of-the-pack in points allowed, setting Jokic up nicely to cash this prop at home.
